Doug Peterson embarked on a bike ride from Canada to Mexico, in memory of his son Kyle. Pair of Thieves sponsored Doug’s trip and created a pair of socks with the National Suicide Hotline on the toes.

We met up with Doug on his ride in the Bay Area and shot, edited and launched three social films before Doug reached the southern border of California.

People of all ages, along the West Coast and beyond took inspiration from Doug’s powerful story, adopting his ‘Never Alone’ mantra as their own and even opening up about the ways suicide had touched them.
